Toward that end, we approach our relationship with you in a logical, thorough and effective way. As a design, build and deliver consultancy, Professional Impressions Consulting understands the significance of every part of a culture change intervention – both in the short-term and in the long-term. Our learning designs are built on in-depth knowledge of, and extensive experience with, adult learning theory with a definite bias toward the high involvement of participants in a classroom versus a lecture style presentation. We work with organizations to take proven principles and applications and adapt them to the target culture; at times this means starting from scratch, but most often it means customizing elements of existing modules, thus keeping time and cost to a minimum.
PLAN AND DESIGN
- Agree with key stakeholders on success criteria up front;
- Tailor and produce high-quality training, coaching, mentoring and consulting materials and tools with specific and frequent client sign-off points;
- Design custom role plays appropriate to the industry, organization and job
function of the target audience;
- Develop detailed roadmaps for how to rollout training, coaching, mentoring and
consulting;
- Agree on how we will communicate, share feedback and make changes for the
duration of the project.
IMPLEMENT
- Provide our clients with the best trainers, coaches and facilitators to meet their needs;
- Meet regularly to obtain feedback on how we are doing across three dimensions of
success: Results, Process, and Relationship;
- Check in frequently to get client feedback and adjust expectations as needed;
Collect detailed feedback from target populations and stakeholders during the
piloting process;
- Facilitate post-event meetings with the client to agree upon conclusions, implications,
and any required next steps or adjustments.
EVALUATE
- Complete project evaluations to capture best practices and areas for improvement;
- Provide our trainers and coaches with candid, direct feedback;
- Examine participants’ written evaluations, and develop any corrective action
along the way.
We recognize that when clients bring us into their organizations, they are depending upon us to deliver successfully on our commitments. At times, they are staking their internal reputations on the quality of our work. In a situation where there is dissatisfaction with our work, we will focus our efforts on understanding where the breakdowns occurred and on building agreement on the best solutions and remedies to support our client’s success. We also train seasoned internal leaders to train, coach, and mentor others.
